Born into a creative family, Colette Aimee is the daughter of an actor and a ballerina. Throughout her upbringing Colette Aimee had all kinds of art flowing in and out of her life in the small town of Kent, NY.  Musicians, actors, dancers, poets, and painters were many of the influences she took in that helped create the artist she is today.  Colette Aimee attended art school at SUNY New Paltz in NY, receiving her BFA in 2006.  In the fall of 2013 she became visual artist of the year for RAW Boston. She continues to exhibit across the country in gallery shows and events as well as at various music and art festivals.  She still surrounds herself with the same types of creative people which inspire her to paint the luminous colors of her surrealistic world.

Lindsey Kuhn is an artist of international distinction. He is best known for his original silk-screened rock posters for a wide variety of bands such as AC/DC, Johnny Cash, Tool, The Pixies, Devo, Pearl Jam, Eagles of Death Metal and hundreds more.  His company, Swamp, located in Denver, CO since 1997 also does custom printing and publishing for other artists.

Woodstock artist Mark Larson creates artworks inspired by psychedelic San Francisco posters, Buddhist and Hindu mandalas, Japanese manhole covers, rock album covers, the novels of Philip K. Dick among other things. Mind expansion – no drugs required.

Mark developed his New Psychedelics project after a long career as an art director, designing thousands of album covers, posters, and advertisements for a diverse range of recording artists including Whitney Houston, Billy Joel, Bob Marley, Elvis Costello, The Grateful Dead, The Clash, Cheap Trick, Miles Davis, Wynton Marsalis, and Yo Yo Ma.

The New Psychedelics artworks have been made through a complex digital design process that combines technical skill with a masterful command of design, creative intuition (honed by a lifetime of practice), and a passion for the aesthetic language of 1960s and '70s rock 'n' roll album designs.

Craig McCord is a multi-media artist who lives in Woodstock, New York. After life as a commercial director, followed by a stint creating content for websites, he shifted focus to combine two of his passions – music and photography.

The work in this show reflects years of performance and portrait work of his favorite subjects - musicians and the people who support them. Here, he describes his work:

"My images are echoes, souvenirs & reminders of what we heard and how the music made us feel. The music plays and then it's gone. Twinkling fractions of time caught by lens and shutter help us remember. Perhaps TS Eliot said it best: 'You are the music while the music lasts.'"

Johnny Thief is the co-founder of Seppuku Tattoo, originally opened in 2005 in Savannah, GA. He's been tattooing since the year 2000, jumping off from a number of corporate art jobs to live the tattoo life style 24/7. Johnny has a long career in rock/ punk poster art. Kenny Schneidman is a self-taught independent artist and musician, living in Woodstock, NY since 1986. There are few things he would rather do than design posters. His work has appeared in numerous music related books and publications, notably in the Grateful Dead Archives on various t-shirts and in The Attics of Our Lives: Posters and Art of the Grateful Dead Archive, alongside some heavy-hitters. He has designed dozens of album covers and sleeve art for LPs and CDs.

After a long career in sign-making, screen-printing, airbrushing, and web design, Kenny now mostly designs posters, logos, packaging, and advertising materials for concerts, events, artists, musicians, and small businesses all over the country. He also plays keyboards and sings in the Misty Mountain Ramblers, a Woodstock based project made up of musicians from several bands.

Kenny also co-owns the Arrowhead Ranch & Retreat in Parksville, New York, a legendary multi-use venue, and a sanctuary where rescued animals live their lives in peace and dignity, as well as a beautiful setting where multiple events and small music festivals take place every year.

In 2018 Nick Clemente discovered an unseen archive of photographs by one of the most prolific photographers of the 1960s and 70s.

Mark Goff (1947-2018) leaves us a treasure trove of photographs taken of great musical concerts and cultural events, including the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival as well other events that defined the culture of the 1960s and 1970s. Mark's photos resound with the creative revolution that was in the air at that time.

Nick has fifty years experience as a fine artist, graphic designer and media producer. His work incorporates the integration of metaphysics, music and philosophy from both eastern and western perspectives.

Byrd has been creating posters since his days at The Fillmore East in NYC where he created the famed 1968 Jimi Hendrix Experience poster now in the collection of MOMA, NYC. He also created the poster for The Rolling Stones 1969 American Tour, TOMMY by The Who, The Grateful Dead Dance Concert, and the legendary 1969 Woodstock/Wallkill Poster. He quickly moved on to Broadway, where he created images for Follies, Godspell, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hot L Baltimore, The Magic Show, and Little Shop of Horrors amongst many others. From 2006 to 2010 he was the poster artist for City Center Encores in NYC . He has had retrospective shows in Los Angeles, New York, Seattle & Sarasota.

Byrd's work is in many private collections as well as MOMA, NYC; Victoria & Albert, London; Musée des Bellerives, Zurich; Walker Institute, Minneapolis; and Musée des Arts Decoratif at the Louvre, Paris. At Pratt Institute in NYC (where he taught Illustration from 1971 - 1978) he was chosen as one of the "Artistic Icons of the 20th Century" at their 125th Anniversary Celebration.

Mike DuBois has established himself as a pioneer in the work of contemporary music art, with commissions by many bands and artists including The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, Neil Young, Hot Tuna, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Black Sabbath, and many more. In addition to creating designs and artwork for the music industry, DuBois also oversees Happylife Productions a multifaceted graphic arts company producing art embellished products. Happylife also produces tour merchandise and special event products for shows and events including Phil Lesh's Terrapin Crossroads, Levon Helm Studios, The Bearsville Theater, Gathering Of The Vibes, Jam Cruise, and Mountain Jam.

Mike has an extensive following of collectors of his original art designs and prints. His art crosses genres blending bold screen printed graphics with whimsical, surrealistic, psychedelic, and visionary themes.

J.T. Lucchesi is a print artist residing in Hillsborough, NC where he works from within the Home Team pulling ink for the past 30 years. Weighing in at a solid 225 lbs at 6'4" his main move is no-holds-barred full-contact screen printing. JT is rivaled by few in the industry. He is also the poster artist for the Southern Jam Rock Band, Widespread Panic and a wide range of other bands.

His passion for work lies at the crossroads of his two loves, music and art, where he is at his happiest.

Matthew Rick is the owner and purveyor of Shakedown Gallery based in San Francisco, CA. Shakedown Gallery presents new rare and vintage psychedelic art pieces. These range from signed Albert Hofmann books and posters to signed Timothy Leary and Stanley Mouse giclées and blotter art prints to perforated prints that were printed in the same batches that circulated on Dead Tour in the '80s and '90s, but which never touched the sauce.

He also now manifests live art at events and concerts along with a cadré of other live painters.

Mikio Kennedy has been in the art and design business for decades. He has created album covers, posters, t-shirt graphics and merchandise for the Grateful Dead and other bands. Mikio is a living legend known for his groundbreaking work in screen printed, tie-dyed shirts from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Mikio continues creating his unique and recognizable designs printing with waterbased inks on fabric, shirts and other products as well as limited edition giclées.

Phil Brown has been creating some of the world's best artwork and tie dyed patterns on t-shirts, golf shirts, adult & children's clothing, and fabric as art for Rock and Roll bands, blanks for silkscreen printers and artist's fashion lines since the early 1970's.

Brian has been involved in the printed rock merchandise industry for more than 30 years. He is a graphic artist, wood worker and master screen printer from the Catskill Mountains of New York. You may have seen his work over the years on licensed t-shirts, posters, and CD covers. Some of of the bands he has designed for include Deep Purple, Widespread Panic, The Dead, AC/DC, Mountain Jam and many more. His latest artworks include relief wood carvings, as well as unique custom built electric guitars that feature ornate 3D graphics and one of a kind finishes, all influenced by the Rock Art culture.
